Cookie Policy
This section covers the website. The mobile app does not use cookies (see section 5). Last updated: October 2026.
1. What are cookies?
They are small files that a website stores in your browser to remember information, such as the fact that you are signed in. Similar technologies (such as the browser’s local storage) are treated the same way.
2. Which ones we use on the web
We only use technical and strictly necessary cookies to provide the service you request:
- Secure session (NextAuth.js): keeps you signed in.
- Sign-in with Google: technical cookies to verify it.
- Interface state (SessionStorage): remembers, during your visit, whether you dismissed informational notices.
- Invitation link (SessionStorage): if someone invites you, it remembers who it was during your visit so they get credit when you sign up.
- Service Worker: a technical file that makes the website load faster and work like an app (PWA). It doesn’t collect personal data.
3. Statistics: no cookies
To know how the website is used and to fix errors we use PostHog (servers in the EU) and Vercel Analytics / Speed Insights. None of them stores cookies or data in your browser: PostHog is configured without persistence, without automatic click capture and without session recording. That is why we don’t ask you for cookie consent. More information in the Privacy Policy.
4. Consent
Technical cookies are essential to sign in and keep your passport, so they don’t require prior consent under current regulations; we inform you for transparency. If we ever add statistics or advertising cookies, we would ask for your permission first.
5. Mobile app: no cookies
The native app (iOS/Android) doesn’t use cookies. It stores on the device, in the app’s private storage (inside the device), your session and some preferences (language, theme, vibration). For the app’s statistics (PostHog) an internal identifier is used, as explained in the Privacy Policy.
6. How to delete them
You can delete cookies and site data from your browser settings. If you do, you will need to sign in again.
